    The Malawi National Commission for UNESCO with support from the Korean National Commission for UNESCO is implementing the Bridge Malawi Project (Phase II) focusing on consolidating sustainability of the Community Learning Centres (CLCs) namely Mwera in Lilongwe, Naphini in Zomba, Namiyango in Blantyre and Ibuzya in Chitipa. The Bridge Project also focuses on Policy-System related Results such as printing and distribution of teaching and learning materials and relevant guides.

    The second phase of the Bridge Project (2021 to 2025) aims at contributing to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) and realize the Incheon Declaration (towards inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning for all) through non-formal education. Since 2021, the Bridge Project has carried out several activities in the CLCs and national wide such as provision of classes in Early Childhood Development, remedial classes to primary school going children and adult literacy; supporting the establishment of Diploma Programme in Adult Education at Magomero Community Development and Training College; and Supporting the upgrading of the adult literacy curriculum among others.
