The Planning Department in the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, in collaboration with the Malawi National Commission for UNESCO organised a Consultation meeting on Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG4). The meeting was supported by the UNESCO Regional Office for Southern Africa (UNESCO ROSA). Img: education SECTION-DPS2 The purpose of the meeting was to develop Malawi’s work plan document on SDG4 to ensure that policies, programmes and resources are aligned towards attainment of the Education Agenda by 2030. Consultation Objectives The Following were the objectives of the consultation:
1. Discuss, clarify and unpack SDG4 and the Education 2030 agenda
2. Explore priorities and monitoring modalities for the Education 2030 agenda against the national context
3. Agree on roles and responsibilities for taking forward the Education 2030 agenda
